New Classes Arrive at ACC Just In Time For the New Year!
With the beginning of 2015 comes exciting new changes at the Armfield Civic Center! First, as many of you are now aware, we have awesome new workout equipment in our weight room. In fact, we have 16 new pieces! Come by the Front Desk and ask about a free orientation from Magan, Jilliann, or Bobbi!

SO...now let's talk about these new classes for 2015!

H.E.A.T. bootcamp: This is a high energy advanced training class. It combines high intensity interval training with strength training/muscle conditioning. Come prepared for a great workout and to be pushed to your highest potential!

Bows and barbells: Have you always wanted to walk into the weight room and look like you knew what you were doing? Well, this class is for you! Bows and barbells is designed to focus on proper, challenging, and effective weight lifting techniques. Class spots are limited so call the Front Desk the  day of the class! We open at 5am Monday-Friday.

Cool Runnings: Love to run? Hate to run? Cool runnings encourages active participation in running activities while focusing on physical fitness, health, safety, and having fun!

Core Barre: Fusion of strengthening moves found in classic ballet, pilates, and yoga. The end result gives participants a longer, leaner line and a stronger core. Core Barre is hard on the muscles and easy on the joints. Class spots are limited so call the Front Desk the day of the class. We open at 5am Monday-Friday.




6th annual ACC at the ACC BBQ Luncheon and delivery
They're back...the ACC will once again rock the pig on Friday, March 13! This has turned into one of our most successful annual events.
Why?
Because we provide amazing eastern style bbq lunches which include the infamous Wooten sauce, slaw, baked beans, a roll, and dessert brownie.  Folks who visit the ACC will also be provided with sweet tea. We will have the ACC tournament playing on the big screen in our activity room all day! Lunches are only $8.00 and the ACC also will sell containers of bbq for $12.00.
Breaking news!
We have people all the time telling us..."we love your bbq event. Why don't you do it more than once a year?
Okay! That sounds like a great idea!
The ACC is excited to announce that beginning in September we will have a Friday Lexington Style BBQ Lunch with a tomato based sauce, bbq slaw, baked beans, roll and dessert.
Of course when you dine here, you get all you care to drink sweet tea!

The ACC is proud to announce that Weight Watchers has joined up with the ACC!
Meetings will be held every Thursday 6pm in the Senior Center.
